    A group of US lawmakers introduced a bill before Congress in Washington DC to make Uruguay a new member of the free trade agreement already in force with Mexico and Canada, currently known as USMCA, a successor to the NAFTA deal.

    Mexico, US, Canada sign Buenos Aires treaty to replace NAFTA

    Peña Nieto, Trump and Trudeau sign in Buenos Aires the new treaty which must now be ratified by the Legislatures in México, the United States and Canada.

    The presidents of the United States and of Mexico and Canada's Prime Minister signed Friday in Buenos Aires the new North American trade agreement, known as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which is to replace the NAFTA one.
