Uruguay y Chile elogiados en la Muestra sobre Shackleton.
Los embajadores de Uruguay y Chile fueron huéspedes distinguidos en la inauguración de la mayor exhibición dedicada a la memoria del famoso explorador antártico, Sir Ernest Shackleton que tuviera lugar en el Colegio Dulwich de Londres. Duke of Edinburgh Unveils Royal Marines Memorial.
The Royal Marines Memorial in the Mall, London, renovated with a £15,000 (22,000 dollar) contribution from the Falkland Islands Government, has been formally unveiled by the Duke of Edinburgh, Captain General Royal Marines (on 29th October). Several Royal Marines who fought in the 1982 Conflict were present.

Helicopter flights help preserve penguins. Navy and scientists join in South Georgia research.
Some of South Georgia's 800-thousand King Penguins are in for a surprise in the next few weeks, as helicopters from the Royal Navy's ice patrol vessel HMS Endurance make repeated flights over their colonies.
