Piloto argentino y sus dos hijas “encantados” de estar en las Islas.
Martín Rappallini, el argentino de 49 años que este miércoles a primera hora de la tarde aterrizara con su bimotor Piper Aerostar en el aeropuerto de Stanley dijo que había cumplido una ambición con la que había soñado desde que obtuviera su licencia de piloto en 1980. No se sintió disuadido por vientos cruzados de 60 grados, y dijo estar “mentalmente preparado”después del cruce de tres horas desde Punta Arenas en Chile.

Daughters of pilot Rappallini speak of their Falkland experience.
The two daughters of the intrepid Argentine pilot, 49 year old Martin Rappallini who flew his small Piper Aerostar to the Falklands on Wednesday, have talked of their delight at visiting Port Stanley.

Great day at Volunteer Point.
The controversial Argentine pilot, 49 year old Martin Rappallini spent all of Thursday in the Falklands viewing 3 species of penguins, including the rare King Penguins at Volunteer Point. Accompanied by his 2 daughters Maria Eliana and Maria Paula they took numerous photographs of the penguins while also admiring the beautiful scenary at the special wild-life area. The overland journey took 7 hours in all, much of the trip over boggy grass track.
