World oil demand forecasted to expand 2,2%.
The International Energy Agency, IEA, estimates oil demand this year will reach 81,41 million barrels per day, which is equivalent to a 3,2% increase over 2003 and for 2005 forecasts a further increase of 2,2% equivalent to a daily consumption of 83,23 million barrels.

The US trade deficit last May dropped 4,5% and now stands at 46 billion US dollars, the first contraction in six months, according to the latest report from the Department of Commerce.
