Creative Marketing Services, CMS, from Yorkshire, England has among its list of clients the Falkland Islands company Stanley Services.

The company which has a ten year licence as the only supplier of fuel to the civilian community in the Falklands arrived in Yorkshire seeking a bit of help with marketing.

CMS hopes to get other clients from further a field, after moving its headquarters to Leeds from Bradford, which had been its home since 1982.

CMS Managing director Andrew Batty said it took four years to find the right location in the city: "We eventually found it in Hollinthorpe Hall, a large early Victorian farm in an acre and a half of landscaped grounds complete with duck pond, just half a mile from junction 46 of the M1 at Leeds East close to Thorp Park."

The extra space has given CMS the opportunity to create three jobs and transfer 12 more. Clients being serviced at Leeds include public sector organisations such as the NHS and Highways Agency, private sector clients such as Skanska and Thameslink Trains and the RSPCA and Highways Agency.

Mark Good, client services director said: "At last we have the building we've been looking for and the space to grow. The location offers us fast access to the motorway network while Leeds offers us the opportunity to tap into a rich seam of talented people.

We're very excited about our future in Leeds and the city's ability to help us prosper."
