    Rockhopper claims first gas discovery in North Falklands

    North Falkland basin explorer Rockhopper Exploration has reclassified a previous exploration well drilled by Shell in 1998, as a gas discovery and as a result has claimed the first discovery in the Falkland Islands.

    United States banking regulators seized two banks in Illinois late Friday as the financial crisis claimed its 35th and 36th federally insured financial institutions of 2009.     Brazilian aircrafts for nationalized Aerolineas Argentinas

    The Argentine government signed Thursday a contract to purchase twenty mid range aircrafts from Brazilian manufacturer Embraer for recently nationalized flag carrier Aerolineas Argentinas.
