We compete as a country in the “Small Island Games” with countries like the Faeroes and Aland. As a Country we take part in international tourism and wildlife conservation conventiuons - one was recently hosted here and participated in by several S American countries.

The Falklands are British, have been since 1765 (with a counter claim by spain), have been since 1833 (with no effective counter claim by anybody) and still will be while Argentina acts the fool. Which loooks like it'll be a long, long time. And whe n Argentina stops acting like a fool, then the islands will be an independent Nation.
