Lots of Russian submarines go down. Not always when intended. Not a problem for Vanguard, Swiftsure, Trafalgar or Astute-class British submarines. Russian submarines are sooooo easy to detect.

Congratulations to the Russians, that's all but two continent that has Kilo class boats, although I forsee North America and Australasia to be harder markets to crack.
Especially as the Australians build their own, the Canadians already have subs of a newer and better design (the Victoria class, aka the ex-Upholder class) and the New Zealanders aren't much interested.

I doubt canada or austrailia would buy russian. Certanly not USA. They have the option of buying from USA/BAEsystems.

I believe BAE already are Aus' main supplier, They are pretty damn good with subs too, the new astute is an amazing boat.

The US and Britain are generally acknowledged to have the best submarines, the best crews and the best abilities in submarine warfare in the world.
