As far as I know, Brazil already has access to the Pacific Ocean through an accord with Peru.

How could that accord be in place, since Peru does not have a direct link to the Atlantic Ocean?

Forget, is that a question? Yes, I heard and read that Brazil indeed has an accord with Peru for access to the Pacific. What I understood is that the Trans Amazonian highway is part of it, goes through Bolivia, to Peru, Cuzco, Lima and the port in Arequipa.

The question was to jerry who questioned my first post on the basis of Peru not having access to the Atlantic.

As for the pic, thanks for showing it. I first heard about the Brazil-Peru accord in 2003. I didn't know it was under construction yet.
