Disclaimer & comment rulesIt was the same stuff in 2006. Corruption allegations were spread and involved people as close to Lula as Antonio Palocci and Mercadante - both of which wound up being absolved in court judgments. This is how Brazilian media are: scandal thirsty and irresponsible. They've been like that to all democratically elected leaders, including those of the 50s. Only with the military dictators they got along.
