I quite agree with you. He should explain to Argentina that the Falklands now deserve peace and independence without fear from Argentina,
and Argentina should except that, ??

It is ridiculous to think that malvinas afraid of a peace-minded people like Argentina. In Argentina we do not want a British military base in our south. That is clear.

    Your Comment@ briton #4
Briton, I don't have any problem with British and my compatriots talking about the islands, except when they make me feel bored, but you ARE NOT BRITISH!!!! YOU ARE A CHILEAN!!!! WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE???? You're faking your British nationality, because you consider yourself not good enough to insult and slander my country, and its people, every chance you get without pretending to be a British.
This is a matter between us, the Argentine people and the British people, it hasn't got anything to do with you. Do us all a huge favour and stay away from us. By the way, those miners need money, clothes, a new job and new houses, go and help them out, and stop being a social idiot and a fastidious troll.

Dear Xbalrilox...I´m Chilean and very proud to be so...
Due your comments, thought that you´r an hothead that hate Chileans....
Fortunately, you´r an excepcion in your country cos de the most don´t...
I have a lot of very good friends, keeping our differences away and respecting their own thinking.
Your attitude is speaking bad about your countymen, but I Know they aren´t like you.
I have expressed my opinons against your authorities cos they have been negatives to us a lot of times, Mr. K was a good example, but the common Argentine is a good person, friendly, that enjoy the life......and keep my words about this.
If any person insult you not necessarily must be Chilean....This person could have any nationatlity, even British.
If you have no noted, I'm using my real name and not an AKA to attack the others.
Being polite don´t avoid be brave...

@quetzald there were only a handful of marines on the Falklands when you invaded in 82. The garrison is there now to prevent a repeat performance of that stupid stunt. You only have yourselves to blame if there is a military base there now.

Yet again the Argentinians show their true colours, all lovey dovey with the Chileans when they want something from them, but if a Chilean (or who they believe to be a Chilean) speaks out then out comes the hatred, I really don't understand Argentinians, why are they so ANGRY with everone?

They are mad because the rest of the world is moving ahead and because of their corruption and poor choice of governments they are left behind. Chile is nice, the people are polite, it is clean and well ordered. They have done a lot with such little opportunity as their land provides. Whereas Argentina has squandered multi-generations of wealth. They don't want to admit they are stupid and corrupt and want to blame someone else for their poor state of affairs. Hopefully it will change before it ends up like Venezuela or Zimbabwe but who knows. They are not very bright people so when CFK fails they will get another one just as bad as the one before.

I think xbox is a very sad person. I don’t think all Argentineans are bad, most people are ok, and just like us [British] but sometimes you get bad apples and this ruins it for the rest. Xbox cannot understand this, the whole point of this blog is to pass comments. and that is what I try to do fairly, the Falklands will always be British, as long as people like Xbox, uses violence to get his own way, but he is not an example of his people,
the only thing wrong with Argentina today, is the idiots that spread violence towards the Falklands, long may they always be British. As Britain will always protect them from aggressive people.
    Like xbarilox , thank you

Dear Mother Teresa of Calcutta, are you stupid? I'm not interested in those islands, those interested are Marcos Alejandro, Think, Israel and others (Timerman, Mrs Cristina de Kirchner, etc). The Falklanders can live in the islands for as long as they want to live there.
Mother Teresa, don't think that this forum and our posts are sooo important, policitians don't care what MercoPress and briton or me, has to say about the islands. Sleep well Mother Teresa, and remember, if you repeat and repeat you're British, one day you'll be British.
