Dec 05th, 2010 - 08:35 pm - Link - Report abuse 0HMS Gloucester was specially invited to participate of the Exponaval 2010 based on the long established historic links between the Royal Navy and its Chilean counterpart. Several surface units from the Chilean Navy were formerly Royal Navy frigates

Dec 07th, 2010 - 12:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The HMS Gloucester meant the importance that our country in all level, but specially the Navy, have about the historic links between UK and Chile from the earlies times of our Independence. And it´s a significant show from our GVT to our neighbors that Chile will keep it in the future, despite the claims of Argentina over Falklands Islands sovereignity.
