Montevideo, Colonia and Rocha, are always beautiful, except when Maradona visits the country.

Uruguay is great! i love it. I always spend my holidays in Jose Iganacio. Crime rate is much lower there, it is much safer than Argentina. However, there other aspect to consider “living standars”. Saddly, healthcare and universities are not very good!! Also, most professional jobs are not well paid.
I do agree that is an excellent place to retire or rest. but in Argentina you can have more fun! for good or bad, it is much more entertaining!

    Uruguay rocks!
Abrazo from BA to all the hermanos of del Plata!!

“ Saddly, healthcare and universities are not very good!! Also, most professional jobs are not well paid.” It looks like our universities are not very good either, that's the reason why Cristina's daughter studies in New York.

Since when Cristina = Argentina = Malvinas? huh? Fortunately, las Islas Malvinas will be there after Cristina. They're there, even now that Néstor isn't here anymore and they will be there :) It's hilarious the fact that you want me to support Cristina haha. I won't do that :)

Who comes first “president or malvinas”: Argentina = no Cristina.

    More Argentinians in Uruguay?

In that case, I would certainly avoid at all cost to visit my native country!

aedi, unfortunately for you “At the moment most of the 3.108 million dollars in foreign deposits in the country come from Argentina, while more than half the tourists that go there each year are also Argentine.” so, money dictates the way to go :)
