Brazil is home to the world's largest Portuguese, Italian, Japanese and Lebanese-descent communities. The second largest Polish and German (after the US), and second largest Ukrainian-descent communities. There are also pockets of Finnish, Austrian, Swiss, Armenian, Chinese, and Korean immigrants. Although it has the largest non-African black population, in the last census less than 8% of the population said they considered themselves to be black.

Don't forget the Dutch. They had and still have a strong influence (Third largest behind the US and Canada) from the north east to the south of Brazil. I found it funny to see brown or black Brazilians in the north east with stark blue eyes and a Dutch last name (Also French, 2nd largest, though with a Dutch last name is nicer)
