Douglas expresses incoherent frustration - understandable, but what is really needed is some authoritative information from the International Atomic Energy Agency WHO SHOULD BE RIGHT THERE, ON THE SPOT, DOING MONITORING. THIS IS THEIR JOB, AND IF IT IS NOT BEING DONE IT IS BECAUSE THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT ARE STOPPING THEM FROM DOING IT.

We need to know if containment vessels have been breeched.
We need hourly zonal maps of tropospheric radiation levels.
We need zonal ground level maps of radiation contamination.
We need to know if contaminated cooling waters are contained or are leaching/flowing off-site.
    etc.
    etc.
so much information needed and so little time.

We demand , on behalf of the Japanese people and those others living and working in the proximity, authoritative real-time information from professional (and unpoliticised) authorities.
