Assuming a 9% increase is really true, does a 25% inflation rate mean that Argentina is progressing backwards?

Do not suppose it matters Geoff, after all once all the oil companies have quit Argentina as a result of the new bill (after all oil companines go to where the most oil and less government intervention is), there won't be much oil to feed their economy and the cost of importing oil will only have a negative impact on their GDP.
