So any and all land in Uruguay can be sold to foreign companies as long as the companies are not 'government companies'

Seems like an awful lot of Chinese 'private' companies will be moving to Uruguay.

When is a government company a private company? When a party official holds the Golden Share.

Not only private or “private” companies, but speculators as well. Uruguay should restrict foreign ownership of land area, something that would cool off land prices, which seem to be inflating like a bubble.

Distrust any information given to you by Turnips.....

    GB 500 miles wide?
    Only in Briton's dreams....

The UK is 302 miles (486 km) at its widest point.
The UK is 683.5 miles (1100km) north to south.

    Martin & Think

    The UK IS small. . . . .
so now you see why I advocate transporting all migrants , freedom fighters, ex-leaders, etc from Arab north Africa (conflict) and negroid sub-saharan Africa (starvation) to the wide and underpopulated lands of Argentina.

Brasil can become a world agro-industrial hearthland, and

Argentina can be the world's refugee camp.

The UN would pay good money for this easy solution and, without oil, this might be your best option.

If you really want to conduct your debate at this level, I am happy to give you such replies. But surely you can take a cue from Forgetit, and engage your brains.
