Funny how Mercopress said the first barge to be built is still a year away. ;-)

cool maybe Chavez can use the money to invest in a good nuclear defence program from Russia or China, soo Venezuela will not be attacked like Libya, we know the pirats are disperate to theft oil even if that mean killing all Muslims.

@martin #4 - ”Here is one of the tanker barges Argentina is building.

    maquina-de-combate.com/blog/archives/15774“

Congratulations on winning idiot of the week award yet again. Please explain how when the agreement was only signed a week ago to build the barges - ”Under an agreement signed by the two presidents last week, Argentine shipyard Tandanor will build 16 cargo ships for PDVSA.“. Just how Argentina has managed to build one in 7 days. Especiallay when the article you linked to itself says nothing of any being built already, but instead confirms the 16 are to be built - ”The agreement envisages the construction of 16 tank barges of 90 meters and 95 meters wide with a capacity to carry between 2,500 and 7,500 cubic meters.”.

Just because the article contains a picture of a barge on it, it doesn't mean that barged photoed is one of the 16 to be build under last weeks agreement. Your vendetta against mercopress only serves to show your own stupidity.

    8 Teaboy2,

Wow Teaboy you follow me like a puppy... you know for a 'millionaire' you really are quite pathetic.

That agreement was nothing but publicity... and since I'm the one keeping track of Tandanor's production and you are not, you should shut the hell up.

The plans to build these barges goes back to 2009, the initial order was for a lot more. They probably readjusted the budget after building the first one... it probably cost a lot more to build than they thought it would.

Here is Chavez and Cristina Fernandez at the ceremony Mercopress said was “cancelled”.

“La Presidenta argentina señaló que los acuerdos firmados con Chávez ”son la consecuencia de otros acuerdos previos, de otras convicciones y de otras situaciones políticas y geopolíticas que hemos sabido construir en estos años los americanos del sur”.” http://www.prensa.argentina.ar/2011/03/29/17925-acuerdos-argentina-venezuela-tandanor-construira-barcazas-para-pdvsa-y-se-exportaran-vehiculos.php

Translation: The Argentine president pointed out that the treaties signed with Chávez are the consequence of previous treaties, of other convictions and other political and geopolitical situations that South Americans managed to build these past few years.

You only know what you read in Mercopress... which means you don't know dick.

@Martin - Perhaps you missed the following part of the article you posted.

“This time the contract covers the construction of 16 tank barges 90 / 60 meters long and 19 / 16 wide, with a capacity to carry 2,500 to 7,500 cubic meters,”

Just because other agreements where in place previously it doesnt mean any of them covered the construction of the 16 barges, if they did - they wouldnt have need to have included them in last weeks agreement would they - idiot.

As for you following tandanor's productiong, so what, somehow i doubt they tell you what agreement/contract the ship that just came of the line was part off. And as the agreement to contruct the barges was only agreed last week, i very much doubt they will have started construction on any of them yet let alone built one. Funny how you link to an article yet fail to provide any link of evidence to back up your claim that a barge has been build - Oh i forgot, the first link you posted as prove, only proved the opposite of what you were telling us.

As for - Wow Teaboy you follow me like a puppy... you know for a 'millionaire' you really are quite pathetic”. LOL paranoid eh Martin. Firstly am not following you around, the fact we read the same articles and post on them will obiviously result in us crossing paths. As for myself being a milionaire - Yeah i am, so what! I fail to see how my earlier post made me pathetic, especially when i used the article you had linked as prove that 1 barge had been built, when the article itself (as i pointed out in my post) did not say any barges had been built, nor did it say the photo of the barge was one of them, it simply said only that 16 were to be constructed as of last weeks agreement. Therefore it confirms what mercopress said and what your second article on Prensa says.

So if anyones pathetic Martin its you. My advice to you would be not to link to articles that contradict what your claiming LOL

This article says it all and proves i am right, and your living in ship building fantasy land.

”According to the AVN Venezuelan news agency, in the installations of Tandanor shipping company located south of this city, the two presidents signed 12 co-operation agreements. A modest total, compared to an average of over 20 signed at previous summits. But it was the same old story — Argentina importing Venezuelan fuel oil (to the tune of 4.807 million tons in the 2004-9 period just to fuel electric power plants at a cost of 1.26 billion dollars, a debt falling due this year) in exchange for cars, food and factory construction (a project dating from 2008 and later joined by Iran, in which Argentina will help to build “200 socialist factories” in the Caribbean country).

A contract for the construction of 16 tanker barges (for the sum of 83 million dollars), was also signed by Tandanor shipyards CEO Mario Fadel and Andrés Guzmán, the former head of the controversial Argentine-Paraguayan shipping company Fluviomar and now the CEO of Fluvialba, the mixed company arising from its merger with Venezuela’s Albanave, a PDVSA division. As Chávez has explained more than once, Fluvialba is the Argentine-Venezuelan company which will hopefully navigate the Hidrovía waterway (the connection via the Paraná and Paraguay Rivers between the River Plate estuary, the Argentine North-west, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and southern Brazil) to transport Venezuelan oil upstream and sail back downstream with iron ore and soy coming from Bolivia and Paraguay. ” - Found here http://www.buenosairesherald.com/article/62999/ch%C3%A1vez-on-tour-%E2%80%94-obama-in-negative - Your own capitals newspaper!!

Please explain to us how since Mario Fadel and Andrés Guzmán only signed the contract to build the barges last week, that they have already built one? Sorry Martin no contract no build as no company would be stupid enough to build something without a contract in place first.

Teaboy, I don't even bother to read your crap anymore... you've got mental problems.

  • Teaboy2

@Martin #13 - No Martin i have no mental problems at all, on the other hand you make up fantasy claims left right and centre, like the US Frogmen on Brit Subs in 1982 attaching bombs to moving argentine ships, and now you falsely claim that 1 of 16 barges under last weeks agreement was already being built, when they have not even had a contract for their construction in place till last week and as i said no company would build anything without the contract in place first. So I had proved you wrong, thats why you make a pathetic attempt to discredit me by stating i have mental problems, in a vein attempt to make people believe your right when your clearly wrong your own linked to articles contradicted what you were saying. So if anyone has mental problems, it is you martin not me.

For readers that do not know martin, he responds to constructive arguments with accusations and insults all the time. He knows no other way of arguing the facts other than to lie and twist things and make up fantastical claims and when he knows all is lost he reverts to accusations and insults in an attempt to descredit you. And he says am the one with mental problems LOL.

Basically martin - you read every word i wrote, but where unable to answer me knowing i had proved you wrong, so out of desperation to be seen by others as being the one that was right you revert to insults and false accusations in a vein attempt to protect your repudation (already non existent as others will no doubt agree) and at the same time attempting to destory mine. Problem is, any reasonable person, will see your post above as immature but also as your inability not just to accept the truth but to accept you had been proven wrong too.
