Is it not the kettle calling the pot black, for the church to lecture politicians on the morality of corruption??
On this day of the creation of a Brasilian into a saint, it is quite in order to chastise the secular state about its corruption.

Whatever a person's private hell consists of, because of what they have done to their fellow man, their time on earth should be followed by an eternity in their hell.
