Chile plans a museum in Antarctica to honour pioneers and attract tourism

The Magallanes regional authorities in Chile’s extreme south are planning to open a museum in the country’s Arturo Prat Antarctic base. Objects and images of Chile’s national presence on the continent will be on display. Read full article

    we hear Argentina wants to expand her holdings down their,

    in this case, sorry lads:

    There are “holdings”... Chile holds the biggest permanently used base on the continent with about 100 citizens, schools, cinema, post office, etc...steadily increasing.
    Briton: Argentina meanwhile struggels with internal problems, they got other stuff to solve yet.
