Brazil spots untouched Indian tribe in the Amazon jungle

One of Brazil's last untouched Indian tribes has been spotted in a dense region of the Amazon jungle close to the Peruvian border, the National Indian Foundation (FUNAI) reported. A couple of years ago another tribe was spotted in the same area in an Ethno-Environmental Protected Area along the Envira River. Read full article

    They're remaining “untouched” along with “left alone”, “not bothered”, etc. won't last long and they will undoubtedly end up as another in a long line of tribes who will “be helped” by modernization. Because you know people...they just can't leave things alone.

    Throughout the last years many untouched tribes have been discovered. I'm unaware of any of them being forced to integrate. The quilombolas in Alcântara are an example of that.
