Mrs Kirchner puts an end to her Twitter blackout to make the announcement Mrs Kirchner puts an end to her Twitter blackout to make the announcement

Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner announced Wednesday on her official Twitter social network account that her son, Máximo Kirchner, has confirmed that she will be grandmother as her son's girlfriend is pregnant.

Thus, President CFK couldn’t hide her joy and wrote “The following tweet will make Néstor [Kirchner] very happy. Our son, Máximo, is going to be dad. I’m having a grandchild! CFK grandma! God takes away, but also gives”

However Mrs Kirchner did not reveal when the child is expected or the months of pregnancy of Maria Rocío García, her daughter in law.

Likewise, the Head of State revealed that her niece, who is daughter of Alicia Kirchner sister of late former president Néstor, is expecting her first child on December 19th, after a 5 year long struggle to conceive.

“Hi; haven’t written since October 26, in El Calafate. He was there sitting in the sofa watching television and complaining, ‘…not again’”, was one of the first twitters followed by a second and third with quotes from former football star Diego Maradona in reference to Nestor Kirchner (death), “his body couldn’t stand up; too much passion; too many years of fighting”.

Mrs Kirchner added, “that’s it, I love that. He (Nestor Kirchner) was a gladiator (Maradona dixit). That was him in single combat, hand to hand. Diego is a genius”

Finally the big news: “the following tweet will make Néstor [Kirchner] very happy. Our son, Máximo, is going to be dad. I’m having a grandchild! CFK grandma! God takes away, but also gives”

Referring to her niece Natalia Mercado pregnancy Mrs. Kirchner said. “Let me tell you December 19 is the anniversary of Rio Gallegos. His beloved niece and his beloved city: it’s incredible”.

Lastly Mrs Kirchner thanked all those who remained active in her Twitter message, even when she suspended writing following her husband’s death. “Thenk you to all: the collaborators and friends who kept the link alive with speeches, videos and the rest of activities. Thank you, thank you very much”.

Congratulations also rained in the social network. First of all was her main political rival, Buenos Aires City mayor Mauricio Macri: “much happiness to the President and her family for the wonderful news of the grand child that is on his way”.

The first of her immediate circle to congratulate the President was Economy minister and her presidential ticket companion Amado Boudou: “Congratulations to CFK and Alicia Kirchner for the two piece of news. The babies will be arriving to a fairer and more sovereign Argentina!”

Other political leaders who sent their best wishes included former Agriculture minister and former Buenos Aires province governor: congratulations to the future parents, Maximo and Rocio and to grandma CFK. Welcome to the club”.

The list followed with Venezuela’s leader Hugo Chavez; Buenos Aires City mayor candidate, Daniel Filmus; Ministers Hector Timerman, Carlos Tomada and Florencio Randazzo.

I would like to hope that CFK will find as much happiness and joy, form being a grandmother as I have found from being a grandfather. May all the children born in Argentina grow up in a country that is free from poverty/repression and fear, a country that believes in self determination a country were the rule of law is applicable to all. In a country that is free from tyrannical oppression. And no this is no a invitation to come and live in the Falkland Islands but a genuine wish, that all the children born not only in the Argentina, but all over the World will know that self determination is the birth right off all.

Another parasite K born into the world. There is much to steal and more economies to destroy so the K's need more clan members. I pity the Argentine people who will have to put up with another K
