Disclaimer & comment rulesSorry, Lonquimay is not in the Patagonia, it is in the Lakes Region, close to Temuco, before Valdivia and towards the limit with Argentina. It is snowing hard in the Patagonia too, but this news refers to another region.

Chilean Patagonia start in the Aysen Region, south of the dead end of the Andes and it capital city is Punta Arenas....
Please, evereybody can check that.....and see that the geography there is nothing to do with the Patagonian main character.....the endless plain and almost desert lands, where the pampa y coiron is a fact of life.....May be if the author can take a trip to the Chilean Patagonia he can learn what it means for us....the real Patagonian inhabitants.

Malvinas is an integral part of Patagonia, just 194 nautical miles from the Argentinean coast...
