We are very proud of our president, who in spite of British aggression, continues to promote peace and dialogue among peoples. Read the 10 UN resolutions have called for the UK to sit down and negotiate on our sovereignty and it is the duty of all members to accept the resolutions of the Assembly.
Read resolution 2065 (XX) of 1965, ratified by later resolutions 1973 (3160, XXVIII) 1976 (31/49), 1982 (37 / 9), 1983 (38/12), 1984 (39 / 6) 1985 (40/21), 1986 (41/40), 1987 (42/19) and 1988 (43/25).

The Falkland Islands has been a British Territory since 1833 regardless of the history behind how it happened and the residents want it to remain so. I'm sure if the Argentine Government can convince them otherwise they will be more than happy to transfer. But causing boycotts at International Fishery conferences for FI delegates and stopping vessels the right of innocent passage through their waters if they have been to the Falklands isn't really the way to do it. Argentina needs to grow up and stop acting like a spoilt child in a playground. You got your nose bloodied in 82, led into it by a despot dictator whose popularity was waining but this is the 21st century no, 30 years have passed, you have a democracy and have a chance to become a stage player in world affairs. Act like it!

Billious, as the Falklands do not YET have full independence, and while the UK retains the responibility for the Islands foreign affairs, it is hardly surprising the the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office has a web site dealing with the Falkland Islands.
