    This construction activity…,
    as the record high employment….,
as the record high crop estimated for this year ….,
as the record high export of manufactured goods….,
as the record high occupation of leisure and tourist facilities….,
as the record high taxation income flowing into the Government coffers……
as the record high consumption of goods and services by the Argentinean People….,
as the record high accept by the Argentinean people of the heterodox policies applied by our Government….,

Must be, for any respectable Brutish Turnip, clear and self-evident omens of the imminent collapse of the Argentinean Economical and Political systems……………..

    You say:
“People are satisfied and having a happy life ”

    I say:
Well......... That's the final proof any respectable Brutish Turnip needs to certify the imminent collapse of the Argentinean Economical and Political systems...;-)

How are the bank deposits? $ is flying out of the county your reserves are rapidly depleting so I don't think it is as good as you are saying...

When inflation is high and everyone knows the peso is about to collapse the only place to put your $ is in hard assets, real estate, cars, refrigerators etc. It is not like people don't remember the corralito...

Think, I agree with you that the Argentine Economy is doing well, but let's be honest here, that's now, we don't know for later, why? how high is inflation there? Don't you think for yourself that soon or later that it will haunt Argentina? Answer is yes.. but don't you think so?

“Argentina's construction activity rose . . . , as builders and private investors continued to benefit from a booming economy and high inflation.”

    So, everybody seems to be benefiting from high inflation . . . . . . ????

And I think even Mr Think, in his convoluted (heterodox) way, appreciates the tightrope being walked and the size of the possible fall.

Yes, things are almost perfect in Argentina. Gasoline prices rise again at the pump; VISA Argentina for sale; British Petroleum Argentina for sale; 50% of Puerto Madero flats unoccupied; disaster season for most grains due to drought; money reserves rapidly being depleted; housing for poor never completed; small company stores filing bankruptcy; cost of living soaring out of sight. In addition, there are outrageous increases in: the inflation rate; more personal and home robberies, automobile thefts, bank robberies, shooting deaths, dope trafficking, kidnapings, poverty, begging on the streets, childreńs use of “paco”, deaths by automobile accidents, student protests, strikes and road blocks, airline flight delays, temporary airport closures, train destructions, money laundering, government corruption and bribery, medicine tampering, natural gas and bottled gas shortages, shortage in electricity, etc., etc. In addition, there has been a decrease in country infrastructure, a near collapse of the educational system, a degrading and expensive medical care system, and little support for the retired persons. Yes, things are almost perfect in Argentina!

I do not understand the psyche of the citizens of Argentina. Are they into self-flagellation; are they gluttons for punishment; are they soft in the head; are they masochistic; are they all of these? I really do not know; you tell me.

It is estimated that in the greater Buenos Aires area (City of Buenos Aires and 17 municipalities of Metropolitan Area) 1.5 million people are without drinking water and 3.5 million people are without basic sanitation.

Seems like a country flush with funds could at least supply potable water in it's largest city and sewage services. Kinda basic isn't it?
