These types of controls never work in the long run, they're just a sign of desperation, reserves are depleted and the peso is in free fall. 4.87/1U$ on grey mkt transactions! Just look at Venezuela and see the future of RGland.

there should be a fee inposed on exchange equals to the anual % of exports compared to the GDP, and to offset inflation and to make sure this is not just on papers this fee should be redused for companyes with their head office in Argentina and bank account in a local institution, this charges should be applyed to all and a rebate can be returned to all tax payers at the end of the year, it might come as a gift for failing busynesses.

#3... I guess you are not from Argenina, Austral 1985-1991....a strong currency is very important it you don't understand that you need to take an economics class.
