446m dollars in Brazil to build a new global model.... I'm wondering how many new jobs, or opportunities for small businesses will be created there.....

I've a feeling that $446million from Fords will go a lot further for Brasil than the $400million credit from the US to Argentina.

Big business feeds medium business which feeds little business,

and new models need a new parts industry. Will this be in Brasil, Argentina, or in some other part of the world?
If the Argentina's parts industry drifts rapidly to Brasil this will up prices but provide the stability of supply that Ford - and the other car assemblers - need and demand.
This could be very bad news for Argentina.

But oh, why no great strategic plan to produce *Brasilian* cars for the burgeoning South American market?

Geoffrey you arent really up to speed with events old boy.The US didnt give Argentina a 400 million.credit.Far from being bad news for Argentina where Ford has made big investments over the past two years it shows us again that South America is growing as a industrial force.Tell us exactly what you mean about the 400 million going further
