Dec 28th, 2011 - 11:41 am - Link - Report abuse 0It seems to be contained however given the statements, so she is very lucky. 20 days before she come back seems ambitious without risking her health further.

In province of Bs As we don't want to have any relation with the rest of the country. We are all economically perfectly well and the way of life is pretty good.
We are just trying to fight back the scum that comes from other parts of this country who wants to leech our region.
That is interesting because from a visitor's point of view it is already a very divided country. Outside of BsAs many Argentines dislike the Porteños. One chap explained that as soon as they hear THAT accent their hackles are up. Reasons varied from 'they are so arrogant and loud' to 'they think they are superior to everyone' to a very detail explanation of the wars between the provinces and continued ill-feeling towards Buenos Aires.

Dec 28th, 2011 - 09:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The government of Argentina has temporarily blocked the sale of smartphones, including Apple's iPhone, in an effort to stabilize its own economy. This consumer electronics ban is meant to slow inflation and reduce the widening chasm between the peso and the US dollar.
The ban is a part of Argentina Ministry Industry's recent decision to reduce the automatic import of certain phones. RIM and Apple have been forced to wait between 60 and 180 days for permission to sell from the Customs Authority. There's no word on how long the current ban will last.

Jan 01st, 2012 - 02:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0That's very true. They talk down to people when they are out of BA. Then they wonder why the provinces dislike them the second they open their mouth.
Argentina is huge but it is not the unified country they would have you believe.
