Industry and Foreign Trade minister Fernando Pimentel expressed on Wednesday the Brazilian government’s deep disappointment with the latest Argentine legislation to be implemented on trade saying that Argentina is “a permanent problem”. Read full article

    Seems to me that upsetting your major / only market for it's' auto products is a real mistake.

    But hey! They (Brasil) understand us (Argentina) and know we are right! Or so the Argies think.

    It would only need one auto maker to shut up shop in Argentina due to all the so called 'laws', the graft and corruption, et al, and that would be the start of the exodus of the rest.

    Perhaps FIAT are considering their position after having to close for two days recently. That would be all the weeks profit gone and then some.
