So the Americanisation spreads via the UK to Europe. The worst kind of women in the Anglosphere insist on being referred to as Ms. Expect this in South America in the not-to-distant future.
I guess it's now just a matter of time before the UK gets an EU Directive banning the word 'Miss' for unmarried women/spinsters/teachers, and 'Mrs' for the ever-smaller number of women that actually get married/widows.
So it will be 'Ms' Marple for all females in the UK in future
- or, of course, 'Mz' if you're 'one o da bros',
and 'Ms?' if you're gender-challenged.
