Hooray, the Spanish people read their emails after a 7 hour lunch. Are they back to the indignity of dry-humping Argentina whilst under the jack-boot of Germany now?

They will surely regret appeasing Argentina, to their cost,
Appeasement invites a sharp pain in the lower back,
But hey, she did nothing abt the fishing problem,
    .

@2 it's like Spain in the middle of a disco-sandwich between Argentina and Germany. That can't be good for the Spanish machismo and probably makes Spain cry at night in the shower after Argentina and Germany have had their fun with him.

    Quite funny to watch though.

If I was Repsol and knew the Argentinian government were doing this, I would rather destroy all assets of YPF, rather than let them be taken over by a corrupt government of a banana-republic!

Is spain even a real country these days? I thought it was under the greater economic regions of germany (GERG), so they probably shouldn't be doing any of this negotiation and should be passing the discussion up to frankfurt instead.

@11. True. Just like Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Greece. I like your thinking with 'GERG', it sounds a bit more modern than the Fourth Reich. Haha
