By the fifth album, the money had managed to bend them so much that the environmental cause was lost, with a car featuring on the front cover, the music was fitting ode to 'top gear' and the aboriginal guy had been put out to pasture a long time previously for being too concerned about the environment I guess.

It seems BKM has his sights set on taking over and controlling the NTPAC and using it as a type of ultimate contest to solve disputes between stets. Apparently Argentina got very excited about this and applied at once to take part in the first ever UN competition; head to head with the Falkland Islands. A rather embarrassed BKM had to call KFC and explain that the competition involved TRACTOR pulling, not just pulling.

Learn to read the other sides point of view. Until you are capable of understanding that there are two sides to every argument, then it is pointless me repeating what I've written again and again.
You either understand the principle that people have the right to choose their own sovereignty or you are on the side that believes any nation (for it would not just be your own) can dictate to any other nation or territory who they should be governed by.
The nuclear powers could easily take a cowboy approach, absent international law, to dominate the non-nuclear powers. If Britain was as evil as you say we are, why don't we just threaten to nuke you? The Israelis do this to their Arab neighbors, they don't have nuclear bombs because they do, they have them because they don't and threaten to use them. Britain has never threatened anyone with nuclear weapons.
If Britain was so bad why did w withdraw from Empire? Why do the Empire follow us to Britain? Why did almost every territory ever under British rule join the British Commonwealth? Why do they share our Queen? Because we are evil people and destroyed their land?
No the British did a lot of good in the world and some bad. Just as the Romans brought civiliation to Britain, we brought civilisation to much of the world.
Sure the Spanish want Gibraltar but then Gibraltar has been under the British flag, far longer than it has been under a Spanish flag. It only came under Spanish rule in 1462, the British took it in 1704 and the Spanish ceded it in 1713. The Gibraltarians don't want to live under Spanish rule. Their identity is Gibraltarians. Perhaps Spain should claim Argentina on the basis that she ruled you in the past? What is the difference?

What is it about these people's psychologies? Is it that they cannot come to terms with the fact that they're just a guy who used to be famous and now is begging people to go to a concert, and no one really cares what they think. A feeling of powerlessness, of annihilation? It's quite interesting.
If the falklands issue didn't exist, would you care what morrisey or sean penn or that guy from pink floyd (forgot his name) thought? No, you wouldn't.
To the Argies. Cease your endless prattle, you are kidding nobody. The Falkland Islanders know that we will never betray our own to you. You have no cause, so drop it. A few years ago, when Argentina were still going through their “winning our hearts and minds” phase, they sent us a couple of pop groups. One was an all girl Beatles tribute band. They were OK, but we'd never heard of some of the songs they sang. The other was a ska band, like an Argentine version of Madness. They were furious a) because nobody here had ever heard of them and we didn't know the words to their songs b) they came in mid winter and the weather was terrible, even by our standards and c) they were stuck here for a whole week.

What? I must have missed something. I'm old enough to remember the last time Argentina tried to take possession of the Falkland Islands. I clearly recall the British Parliament and the British public, regardless of political affiliation, being wholeheartedly in support of Thatcher's stance on the sovereignty and liberation of the Falkland Islands. Even Michael Foot supported her. I detested the woman and still do to his day. Her callous attitude in general, and her imploring us to “rejoice” at the (albeit necessary) sinking of the Belgrano, and consequent tragic deaths of hundreds of unfortunate Argentine conscripts, sickened me to the core. However, at the end of the day she was right about the Falklands. Galtieri and his sorry cronies coldly calculated that Britain would not, or could not, rescue the Islands from his sneak invasion and occupation. He was sadly mistaken. The rest is history.

Now there’s a surprise, you’re a member of the Communist party, so of course you would have noticed all those MP’s that were against throwing the Argentinians off the islands, but the overwhelming majority were for it.
I only really remember one of the dissenters, Tam Delle (a sincere humanitarian) who said the British were going to a watery grave. He was wrong, as hardly any of them drowned, but I do respect him for his concern.
As for Thatcher, they got rid of her because she was becoming a liability, nothing else.
I agree with Alexei ‘s sentiments @85 about her and still don’t like her, but I am tired of Hollywood injecting their own personal bigotry into their films.
Whether you meddled in British politics or not; the word ‘appears’, still applies, but could relate to your ability to grasp what was, actually going on around you.
I have to assume that as you weren’t unhappy about her decision, you imagined there were more like yourself than there were.

No it isn't, CP can mean a number of things, but it is not in general use in Britain for the Conservative Party and as you were implying many people were opposing the re-taking the Falklands, that was the likes of the Communist party, so make yourself clear and stop giving false impressions
