Argentine Foreign Affairs minister Hector Timerman refused to talk with the press about the Argentine restrictions to regional trade.

    I bet he did. Wanker.

@2 Is Paraguay suddenly Antonio and Timerman is Shylock screaming about how they all owe Argentina pounds of flesh or allegiance?

I've asked the question why people in South America arent up in arms over the way Argentina are going on. I'm still unsure.

Maybe they all know its about to go tits up for them and will wait for the implosion to start soon. Maybe as well having taken decades to get SA to sing from the same hymn book they dont want to fuck it up straight away. however why a country would do this at their own expense ie keep quiet, still remains a mystery.

Someone should be seriously challenging The Witch.

I also find it interesting that the famous Argentinian “dialogue” seems to have gone out of the window now when it doesnt suit them.

@6 Timerman didn't want a dialogue he just wanted to turn up, him to make them all sing and dance about “Malvinas Argentinas” and then he wanted to leave again before anyone mentioned their economic isolationist plans.

    Argentinians don't do negotiations.

It looks for all the world as though the Falklands issue was and is indeed a smokescreen - yet again - for an Argentine government that is on the verge of implosion:

Serious economic, political and social cracks now starting to appear within the country as their crackpot leader once more leads the country of Argentina into oblivion.

The Mad Woman may well go out with a bang and do something really stupid regarding the FI.

Another trade war waged by Argentina. It will be a tit for tat affair and the only people that will suffer will be the ordinary folk not the Nazi comedy club running the country.
