Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti expressed concern about Spain's public finances and said it would not take much to reignite the Euro zone debt crisis and revive the risk of it spreading to Italy. Read full article

Correct Italy saying 'utterly bankrupt country is utterly bankrupt' is correct.

Aren't the iberians going to harp on about gibraltar or something while they sink? That would be very iberian.
