    I dont really quite get the point of this news... and the misleading title of the article.

    1. This is not a LATAM ranking, but IBERO + LATAM ranking.

    2. What's the point of making a special mention to Chile, according to the ratio and other reseaches, Chile does quite look bad on this ranking and it's own goals (nothing to praise at all)
    Here is the complete report:

    If you compare it with the “real” LATAM ranking (excluding Iberia) from 2011 done by reknown QS World University Rankings , you will see this is not in line with the Chilean expectations, whereas 2 Chilean Universities are in the TOP 5 of Latinamerica and Chile ranks 3rd in the region regarding amount with 25 universities in the TOP 200 (just behind Brazil and Mexico). Universidad Catolica just missed the Top spot just by a very small margin behind USP.

    Well done to all of them. I'm all for good universities where ever they are. Lets face it, some day in a university somewhere, an individual or a group of inividuals will be produced and who, find a cure for cancer. That day will be welcomed by all. Well done again.

    Most high schools in developed countries run similiar programs. They are called Science Projects. Now if you really want to be impressed, have a look at what some of the Japanese schools get up to. Man they love their robotics.

    @7 Your comment was FAIL.

    @9 Couldn't tell you the name of a single Argtardian University and I certainly wouldn't attend one, unless I was paid in bullion, and even then I wouldn't because it would involve going back to Argtardia, which is a rubbish idea.
