    Let it be known if any Argy comments on this in a derogative way then they shall feel the full force of our wrath.

    May all that rest in eternal sleep Argentine and British service personnel be remembered for their sacrifice that they gave for their countries. Amen

    Beyond their nationality, those soldiers have paid the supreme sacrifice to serve their country, and from that time family and friends will continue paying, and for many years to come.....
    Beloved sons and daughters, wives, fathers and mothers will not attend future weddings, births, and graduations. Our thanks for what those brave have given is all we can offer to their families today.

    They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
    Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
    At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
    We will remember them.

    That comment was totally unnecessary and in extremely bad taste, none of the Brits has slagged our dead combatants in any of these threads.

    From one extreme to another ... 27 degrees at Gosport UK yesterday and around 2 degrees at Darwin, Falkland Islands today for the 30th anniversary remembrance service for the liberation of Goose Green. In the fierce wind and snow squalls it felt like -5 or less. Again there was a good turnout for the service, which was held at the Para Memorial on the hill above Darwin settlement. I was thinking how horrible it must have been to live in a wet trench in that weather.

    TO ALL BRITS

    As far as I am concerned tobias @7 has just crossed the line in his viperpous attack against the British on this thread, relating to British war dead.

    I for one will not be responding to him again unless, and until, we get a sincere apology and a promise of reasonable behaviour for the future.

    I do hope and trust that there are others who feel the way I do and treat him accordingly.

    @8 Simon68

    Thank you for your comments.
