Spain and the UK will join forces against attacks on their companies in Latin America, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel García-Margallo said, following a meeting on Tuesday in London with his counterpart William Hague. Read full article
Spain is a country that knows the difference between territorial disputes and other issues. Gibraltar is an issue, but it shouldn't get in the way of all the other things we can achieve together, particularly in this economic situation. Shame that Argentina can't see things the same way about the Falklands. Nose:spite:face.
Brilliant to see the two countries (old colonial foes) joining up in solidarity over those who should really be grateful for they have today. If it wasnt for the initial investment made by these two countries (and others) in the past, then S.americas, as we know them (treacherous cousins) today, wouldnt exist.
Sounds more like hype than anything concrete. Spain is a toothless tiger and Britain has more urgent issues to worry about.
Nothing to see here guys, just a photo op, that's all.

Shame thet uk CANNOT solve a simple issue like MAlvinas, when the international community,UNGA,C-24,Mercosur,UNASUR,6 Nobel laureates told them....
hague and margallo...two crooks....nothing relevant..uk 3 million unemployed,1 trillion public debt,9 trillion foreign debt.....Spain another disaster...
Argentina can do perfectly well without uk or Spain..
@8 International community - nope. Argie sycophants - yep. UNGA - irrelevant. C-24 - irrelevant. Mercosur - irrelevant. Nobel laureates - irrelevant.
And no, you still can't have the Falkland Islands or South Georgia or the South Sandwich Islands. Unless you think you're big enough or tough enough. But we know the answer to that, don't we?
Spain needs all the help it can get at the moment and it has to protect its interests just like any of us when the vultures are more than ready to pounce. Its good that the UK have joined forces to help stave off said vultures and Argentina along with its own foolhardy pressganged shipmates should take note. The best way forward in this global uprising is to make economic freinds and leave stupid territorial disputes aside and place them in the dustbin of 'great historical blunders'.
So the brits and Spain unite,
i wonder how much corruption and underhanded , deals the British did, too agree on this,
[Say what you like]
We don’t trust politicians,
Now or ever.
The greatest danger to Gibraltar and the Falklands, are the politicians .
Am I not correct ?/
we get nothing,
did spain suport us over the falklands,
does she support us in the falklands ,
would she partisipate with help, over the falklands,
[we doubt it very much]

It's not the Europeans, it's just the 15 odd characters participating on these threads. Europe is slowly taking on a more socialistic attitude towards themselves and the world outside. Mayhap it is out of need, but these folks here do not represent Europe, fact is, they don't even represent Britain as a whole...

Oh please, next you will tell me there is nothing wrong with scoring a goal with your hand and blaming it on god? very arrogant, very dishonorable, in the same way your country snatch oil companies after they find large shale gas deposits, then suddenly find retrospective Environmental fines to cancel out having to pay for the snatch.........Get a grip, you really are sounding like a social spastic with this drivel.
