    Free and fair elections? Hmm At the top of the list of corruption in SA is Venezuela and in second place Argentina so who guarantees a an election free of vote buying and corruption?' What happens if Commandante Chavez loses the election? Venezuela going to be expelled from Unasur and Mercosur also?

    @2: Agreed, it's a bit rich of them to demand free elections on one hand, and then getting cosy with China, Cuba, Iran etc on the other.

    I don't understand this. Is Paraguay not a sovereign, independent state? By what right do the totalitarian dictatorships of LatAm seek to determine its internal domestic affairs? argieland, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela should have no say. Paraguay should look elsewhere for “alliances”. Chile, Mexico, United States, United Kingdom.

    1 redpoll (#) really do you have any proofs? or you talk only because that makes you feel smarter?
    2 Boovis (#) first of all, if the EEUU respect cuba as the UN is telling them to do, cuba could be more democratic, cuba is like it is because of EEUU...
    About Iran, do i have to remember you, you said Irak had nuclear bombs and where are those bombs? So why would we support your attempts of invading more oiler countries? i do not see you complaining because of Israel invading Palestina, instead you support them...
    And about China, you are so ignorant, because Europe has commerce with China too...

    Do you know what happend in Paraguay? They made a political judgement to the president in less of 2 hours, with no proofs and they do not let him to defend himslef...
    So tell me ¿what kind of democratic judgement, do not has any proofs and do not let the accused to defend himself?
    Thats why paraguay is not in a democracy...

    Read the Paraguayan Constitution before posting such ridiculous clap trap.

    The Paraguayan parliament followed its Constitution exactly, it nowhere states that the accused has the right of defense, it is an impeachment not a judicial trial!!!!!

    @4 Of course I know what happened in Paraguay! As Simon says, Paraguay followed its Constitution. Or perhaps you think Paraguay should follow some other constitution. Like the argie one to which CFK pays no attention. Or the Venezuelan one that Chavez rewrote. As a matter of interest, did mercosur listen to Paraguay before it got suspended. Has Unasur listened to Paraguay? And you have the effrontery and gall to talk about democracy? What a useless piece of dog-turd you are! Do you wonder than sane nations hate argieland and its cronies? Gangsters, liars, thieves. Sh*te with a capital S.

    I agree with Simon and Conqueror: they have said all that matters.

    What the bunch of pussy whipped 'Leaders' (by Rousseff and The Mad Bitch Of Argentina) of South America say is of no importance. They are beyond contempt, including Mujica who has caused absolute ridicule for himself within Uruguay by his 'The president has to ignore the law when it matters' load of crap.

    I expect him to back-track over this like he has with the dope law.

    #7 There you go again with the sexism, is Chavez “pussy whipped” too?! Of course he does say he's a feminist, so maybe he is (in your book!)

    @8

    No, he is a despotic dictator who may well threaten the peace in Uruguay.

    But he won't be around that much longer. :o)
