Clearly, Spain is afraid of his corporations losing more assets and it is now bending to political and economic blackmail from Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela. This is all a tale of international business operations colluded with shortsighted populists who act like little kings to give licenses and contracts at will to foreign banks and oil corporations. Crony capitalism mixed with populism and demagoguery.

    Shame on Spain !!

Clearly they do not have the balls to stand up to Mercosur and the cabal of socialist Looney's, and are just rolling over to protect what they have left of their South American business empire.

    A country in terminal decline.

    Very sad

in South America do not accept the coup, not colonialism, we believe in democracy and in the popular vote of the people, when Paraguay again will return to a democratic country to be part of the forums in the region

So Spain says: 'I'm having a party, but please don't come, Paraguay, your neighbours don't like you and it might be a bit awkward.'

Shame on Spain, if I was them I would have told Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela that Paraguay was invited and if they didn't like it they could feel free not to turn up.

How the mighty have fallen. Spain seems to be accelerating it's own decline on the world stage.

Margallo is a fascist. In North America, they used the phrase “He speak with forked tongue.” implying that someone of this ilk is like a snake. Margallo is much lower than this. If he has a belly, it's on his upper surface. He's much like an argie. Mendacious, deceitful, underhand, belligerent and cowardly.
@3 IF you ever get democracy, you may be surprised at what it's like. All the evidence shows that you have little of it in South America. If you want democracy, here's a starting point. Put a bullet through the heads of CFK, Chavez and Morales. Others may pop up to follow the same line. Shoot them as well. In fact, just keep shooting. Most of the current “government” of argieland would benefit “the people” by being dead. And don't forget thos overseas. Arguello and Castro are prime targets for “the bullet”. Not a euphemism for “the sack”. A real brass-jacketed, lead bullet. You know it makes sense!

Good suggestion by Rajoy's Spain, and I don't often get to say that. Paraguay's appaling de facto government is even more isolated than I thought =)
