There is a variant of this drug-drone on the stocks that will monitor from the air malpractice of a different hue.
It is called the corruption-drone.
One will be permanently on surveillance duty above Brasilia; others will be located over all major Brasilian cities.
There is a huge export potential.
Most countries have oppositions willing to buy/rent this variant;
and most incumbent parties will be wanting to monitor their oppositions.
Some South American countries have a pressing need for this plane.
And many developed nations are clamouring to buy the 'bankers' version'.
I think you have the technology mixed up. The Americans frequently use their drones to monitor 'enemy forces' by CCsatTV and then irradiate the target with infra red (IR) while a fighter-bomber drops a guided bomb.
The bomb uses, among other things, an IR imager to kill the target.
I predict that the Brasilian drones will eventually have a miniaturised 'bomb' capability fitted to them. These are more like anti-personnel weapons and are on the stocks as I write.
