I think its bad methodology to classify over 40% as low, but I also expect Cristina's popularity to rally again as the country gets through its difficulties as it did in 2008. Interesting to see the golpista regimes in Paraguay and Honduras at the very bottom...
Sep 25th, 2012 - 03:38 am - Link - Report abuse 0The whole methodology is suspect. As a statistician I cannot make any conclusions other than the obvious:
Sep 25th, 2012 - 03:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 01) Sorry BK, below 50% is below average;
2) Those leaders in power the longest will tend to have a lower score, people get tired of them. I thought Mexicos' Calderon at 46% had done exceptionally well. Anyone on here want to run Mexico?
3) Pepe's score is probably a bit high given the recent result;
4) And proof the exercise was one of futility. Correa at 80%, EXACTLY the same as five years ago. Rats are smelling good?
Good for a laugh, because what really matters is the vote of the public, providing they are not bought (AG, Venezuela), physically coerced (AG, Venezuela, Ecuador, et al).
Mitofsky methodology is based on the collection of opinion polls published in the electronic media of the different countries.

This is probably the most ridiculous travesty of statistics since INDEC 2007!!!!
