Mexico ready to drop WTO complaint after reaching auto accord with Argentina

Dec 15th, 2012 - 10:24 am - Link - Report abuse 0Mexico free trade with USA brought them a lot of US made guns for terrorists who murder people at an alarming rate in mexico, I don't think Argentina has anything to benefit from, when the risk of murder is soo high, as an Argentine I am now worried that Mexico's intentions have a USA made agenda when you see them take actions for cars but ignore terrorists armed by USA. I would never trust a Mexican regime with those values if you do you must be very very stupid. I hear the Mexico USA great wall is going to get bigger as free trade gets better, how else will they protect US wages?

Now I get why our enterperneurs prefer to have deals with Asia, there is just trade and that is it.
Well, this treaty surprised me but not much, I am ok with this. After all it helps to keep a good relationship between our countries, and the Pacific Alliance is gowing in trade agreetments too, I just hope we can help Paraguay and Uruguay have more options and for Mercosur and Pacific Alliance to work togeter for all the region.

Do not take it personal “Elena”. As you probably know, Argentina is waging a legitimate fight to survive across all trade fronts (European Union, United States, Canada, Mercosur, Brasil, China, Australia, Panama, Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, etc).

After that a piece-meal subjugation/annexation of the country would ensue.
We of course cannot permit that, thus Argentina is in the grip of a very circumspect and leery form of xeno-aversion. There is total and systematic distrust of anything or anyone alien or extraneous to our society given the pernicious nature of past encounters.

What does Argentina do if we open our borders and allow all imports without restriction, and then unemployment goes to 30%? What do we do then??
6 I agree completely in keeping tabs on imports if it´s indeed neccesary for the economy, I just dont think all the countries you made mention of are as malicious as you could think, that´s all. For example, for Uruguay trade with Argentina is esential as well as with Brazil, same with Paraguay, and their size and actual economic development certainly precludes them from dominating either Argentina´s or Brazil´s market . So I dont really see the need to make an enemy out of them especially if they are part of mercosur.

Really, and with all due respect, whatever it was that Mexico agreed to with Argentina regarding trade agreements, it is irrelevant, at least for Mexico, it is just a drop of water in our bucket. Mexico exports more manufactured products than the rest of Latin America put together. And Mexico imports also more too. Mexico imports more than 300 billion USD.

Its called an inferiority complex .HoweverArgentina's woes have been caused by themselves with no help from anyone else=self inflicted harm.
Argentina has not got the common sense to look back and analyse, why were we a very successful country around 1900?
Hence the need to bully the Falkland Islanders, which to your credit, you are against.
Looking back and analyzing past plans and actions, review and adjust is the first thing a competent leader does.......but the key word there is competent.

Thought this would happen as soon as the already lame-duck administration that began this “dispute” had left office. Good news coming thick and fast for Cristina these days, no? =)
