“a government under the helm of Maduro and as Maduro consolidates and Chavez weakens, he could begin implementing changes to the model”.
Actually Cabello assumes power pending new elections should the President be unable to take office due to permanent incapaciation.
You watch the linguistic and legal gymnastics as Maduro tries to keep Chavez from being premanently incapacitated so that he can continue on for 180 days.
However Chavez's death will instantly push Maduro aside..... is he dead yet?
Amazing to think that after all these years, Chavez is about to perform his one benevolent and humanitarian act: dying a miserable and lonely tortured death.

Don't see how they can really call this person a leading Bolivarian ideologue if he has fallen out with the movement. While I wouldn't say Caballo was dangerous I do think it is positive that Maduro has emerged as the successor as he seems both more left and more pragmatic. Hopefully no successor will be needed for a while though, and comments like #2 nd #4 are just sick...
