    Well thank God for that
    Protocol has been observed
Alice when you have finished your stint in London there is an opening for a head stewardess on Tango 1
Nice easy hours on full pay as Tango1 almost never takes off unless to fetch fat Max from Santa Cruz with a bruised knee

The UK should be sending a letter of thanks to Argentina for not attending. We save you some money on the funeral costs and security.

Argentina is more worried about the UK's staggering debts and deficit far more than the Brits themselves. Poor tossers.

Thatcher's critics celebrate upcoming funeral all over Britain.
Argentine ambassador will not attend that celebration.

I see we have the usual low-grade simpletons attempting and failing (much like the Argentine government) to troll.

I always found it highly amusing that Argentine's mentioning the UK's stable economy whilst they are on the verge of yet another default. Sometimes I actually feel sorry for these people, its all just so sad and desperate.

Still nothing changes I suppose, the UK continues to protect the peaceful people of the Falkland's islands, the UK continues to remain very strong and Argentina's economy fails as badly as its foreign policy.

I guess nothing will change until the people of Argentina change which may never happen given the horrible initiation into fake history and lies they teach about the Falkland Island's in their schools. The UK has had many dark points in its history but at least we are taught of the truth about these regretful acts and not fed a load of lies about them. Imagine if we were taught in the same way as Argentina?

The right decision. As Ken Livingstone said on Have I Got News For You, “its a shame they didn't invite me so I could turn them don” =)

The Argentine ambassador did everyone a favour by not turning up, who would want her there?

I am glad that Lady Thatcher's family had the President of Argentina banned, they are showing a bit of the old Thatcher spirit!

I have spent the morning watching the funeral service of Baroness Thatcher on BBC TV. It was the event she merited - perfectly stage managed, nobody put a foot wrong. The religious service was excellent - the hymns and the readings perfectly chosen for the occasion.

Even better, there were no visible protests!

    May she rest in piece!

Correct diplomatic protocol to invite her - who gives a damn that she declined? Argentina,s choice - You see Marcos in real Democracies we allow choice and differences.
We do not demand to take over another peoples homeland against their wishes - did you know - its called Colonialism and has no place in the 21st Century - shame that Argentina still lives in the 18th and 19th.
Nor would we in the Islands nor in UK ever attempt to twist historical facts and indocrinate people through the education system- just one of the many things that puts us and UK about 50 leagues more democratic and civilised that the current Arg Govt.

Argentina should express its gratitude to Margaret Thatcher. At the cost of a few hundred Argentine lives she removed a corrupt and brutal military dictatorship which had tortured, raped and murdered many more Argentinians and would have tortured, raped and murdered yet more, given the opportunity.

Britain will conduct military exercises on any British territory it sees fit!

Argentina needs to buy a few bricks, build a wall ... and GET OVER IT!

The reason Castro fled (or did not return) so as not to attend, was that she was not willing to witness the support for Thatcher and The Falklands from Britons and world diplomats alike, in the cold face of the evil lies manufactured by the likes of herself, Fernandez and that slimey Timerman!

Toby posted some nasty comments afterwards on that site, slagging Thatcher. However, he did not mention that he was a bitter, misguided Argentine youth!

    My nephew 'outed' him, forthwith!!!

#12 “Red Ken not invited then? Shame. You will be telling me next that Skinner and Galloway were not invited either!”

Galloway and Skinner gave Thatcher the best sendoffin Parliament on Tuesday night =)

#17 ”You are really George Galloway and I claim my £500 ;-)”

If I was Galloway, don't you think you'd have seen Galloway meeting Cristina in Buenos Aires by now? Rather than debating with you good people on here? =)
