Bilateral trade has trebled from 375 million dollars in 2001 to a billion dollars last year, while Brazilian exports to Ecuador increased 152%, imports have increased seven-fold.
So the reality expressed another way is that Brazilian exports to Ecuador increased 152%, imports from Ecuador have increased 700%! No wonder Patriota has gone to see them.
Imbalance on trade is the order of the day I would imagine.
