Oh it was all supposed to be so different, all those countries that cooked their books and signed their sovereignty away on the dotted line. There isn't a German I know that doesn't wish they had kept their Mark.
Our only problem is that they are our biggest export market, so we are tied to their misery for some time yet.

France is, after all, a basket case. Why else does the EU have the Common Agricultural Policy? It's a special deal whereby France gets to take nearly half of EU expenditure. Of course it isn't the only one. Other Southern European members get a slice. But here's the really good bit. After France et al have taken more than half of total EU expenditure, they hike the prices up! Lucky Europeans. They get to pay twice for French (et al) incompetence. Wait a minute. France is in recession? Not surprised. The French have trouble figuring out where their arses are. Much like the Italians and Spanish. They should be taking lessons from the Greeks. The original bend-over boys. These countries should THINK: Tax it and it means IN-COME. Just a thought. It's also worth remembering the Spanish method of drinking wine etc. A receptacle with a spout pointing in the appropriate direction. And straight down the throat! Anybody got useful thoughts?

    “The uk goes up,”

Yes it goes up in printing more digital money the paper isn't worth. You idiots, mainland Europe is the biggest trade partner of the UK. If they don't grow, neither do you. The greatest worry is Germany, they are the powerhouse of continental Europe (not the UK)..if their economy keep shrinking, than it will get worse in Europe.

But the outside world as a trading partner is much bigger.

7 Briton . Quite right , and the trend will develop as the UK concentrates more on new markets . And as the EU slowly slides into complete recession .
