That the “government” of the Malvinas impose fines, is unlawful because it are Argentine waters.

Jose- read the text dumbo- whose waters ajoin those of the Islands? - he was fishing illegally -poaching in your waters - we clobbered him for it- he was breaking the law.
Which Country out of Falklands and Argentina cancelled and refuses further co-operation on Fisheries? Had you not, for all I know Arg may have even received a good % of the income from the sale of the confiscated catch even as part of a joint agreement?

Jose, you are incorrect. The Falkland Islands EEZ is recognised by every country on the planet, for example China, Spain, Chile, Taiwan, Korea, Japan AND Argentina, as a few real examples. You just believe those waters are Argentina's based on an abhorrent misunderstanding of history and an extreme and warped version of Argentine national pride.

“That the “government” of the Malvinas impose fines, is unlawful because it are Argentine waters.”

Hahahaha poor Argentina can't do anything about it!

The FIG is not only £44,000 richer but also gets to sell 104 tonnes of squid and make even more money..... poor CFK, she could have squirrelled that money away in her vaults.

    Not a single thing!

Maybe they had an Argentine licence, which of course is worthless.

Britain should levy a fee on Argentina for patrolling their waters for them, since Argentina has no Navy of Coast Guard that floats

Shouldn't the Falklands and Taiwan regimes be making nice in the face of the One China/Malvinas Argentinas united front? =)

@2 But argie “waters” only extend 12 miles. So how could the waters for 200 miles around the FALKLAND ISLANDS be argie?
@8 Of course they were “making nice”. It was only a fine. Had it been an argie or Chinese “jigger”, it would probably have “sunk without trace”.

    @8 BK

Yes, you are correct. Both the Falklands and Taiwan people should just give up their human rights in the face of pressure from Argentina and China, so both of the large countries can bask in their own national pride and the expense of others. Sarcasm.

Yes because ONE Taiwanese fishing boat represents the interests of 23 million Taiwanese!

    Gawd!

Jose, as you are takkng advantage of British hospitality presently why not nip down to the Falklands and prop up the bar in the Upland Goose and lecture the locals on the mythical isles of Malvinas. Will make a change from offering your services around Leicester Square and flogging the Big Issue. I'll hold your coat.... Ossie Ardiles is playing in a charity football match near here soon, he has seen the light.

Well while you're sorting out the legal appeal we'll get on with the business of moving forward.

How's it going? I haven't visited Mercopress much in the last month. Too busy. How are our regular deadbeats going? I trust you're keeping them under control.

    Joe me mate!

Missed you. Been an extremely interesting time as the Argentine government continues to provide the comic relief bolstered by the extreme flexibility of sock-puppetry. Highlights you really should read:

    http://en.mercopress.com/2013/05/04/brazil-furious-with-cristina-fernandez-non-kept-promises-freezes-relation
Think stuffs up his logins and outs himself snd admits our poor Mr DoD isnt real! *sob! See posts 45 and 69.

Post 53 I prove that not only doesn't Stevie live anywhere in the Americas. But he uses Googke Translate. He doesn't reply much on this, a little put out. But he eventually regained his composure as the next link shows:

From about Post 28. Watch for the deflection. It's quite amusing.

Oh and DanyBerger says Australia has a worse slum and poverty problem than Argentina, Peru and Kenya:

Posts 30 onwards should give you a giggle.

But you can't go past Think, Dany, Stevie AND Nostrils deflecting about how bad poverty and slums are everywhere else BUT Argentina:

I hope you have been keeping well and that your transition to winter hasn't been as jarring as our balmy 25C last week and bloody freezing nights this week. I think we have a low of 6C coming up this weekend.

“”“That the “government” of the Malvinas impose fines, is unlawful because it are Argentine waters.”“”“

If there was such a place as the ”Malvinas“ you might have a point.

    As there isn't, you don't.

Doubly so because you failed to read what the fine was for.

And, if we believed the Argentine history books, everywhere in the world is Argentine.. it was ALL stolen from you at some point in time (that to be decided by your government when convenient - ”look it must be true - we teach that in our schools!”)

    ---

Bad month for the sock-puppets - even El Think posted as “himself” whilst still logged into one of his sock-puppet accounts.

oh how the standards of sock-puppetry have dropped.

    shocking.

You HAVE been busy mate! Very amusing. No surprise at all about Think/ Dove. I knew from the first few posts he ever wrote as Dove that things were not as he was trying to portrait. If I remember correctly I was the first to smell a rat and I made sure that everyone knew it. I'll give the stubborn fool one thing though, he certainly stuck with it for long enough.

I'll have to work my way through the rest of your highlights when I get the chance. I'm in the UK at present so I need to jump in the shower and get ready for work. An important meeting today in London.

The weather's been pretty good at home but there is no doubt that it's almost winter. Very dark in the mornings now because we stay on summer time all year these days. Bit of frost and snow around the day I left.

Catch you soon my Aussie friend and keep up your good work.

Take 'the government of the Malvinas' (wherever that is?) to court then.

    Simples.

There are thousands of other unlicensed fishing vessels in Argentine waters illegally fishing that completely escape prosecution because they avoid the Falkland Island waters where the rule of law is enforced and stick to the Argentine side where coastguard vessels can't leave port because of a lack of spares.
