Pouring rains and floods have forced the closure of the Iguazu Park, home of the world’s most famous waterfalls in the heartland of South America, shared by Argentina and Brazil, according to reports from the Argentine navy outpost in Puerto Iguazú. Read full article

    Well rumour has it that the officers on most of their remaining ships refuse to take ships out of sight of land because of the equipment and life safety state on board, so guess a river is their limit.

    I've been there many times and never knew of the Navy there. However I've seen an Army base on highway 12 that always looked deserted. Not the most active military in the world, that's for sure.
    For anyone who has been there knows the place is truly a natural beauty. Ashame I read that some of the walkways have been washed out.
