I'm surprised that the history of rail transport in Brasil has been so incredibly poor.
With bulk commodities being the mainstay of the economy, you would have predicted that rail would predominate.
What's the reason?

Try that with railways and see where you get.
Try it with roads and you get queues of lorries 'spoiling' produce in linear car parks.
