A meeting with sycophants and then to claim that Argentina is growing!

How can Argentina be growing when inflation is three times that government rate? The whole world knows that the Argentine government lies about inflation so why would anyone believe its growth figures or unemployment figures?

Looking at the photo, does not look like a meeting to me.All the meetings I have been to , you all sit round a table and discuss the agenda. It looks more like this is what we are going to do. You know she doesn't like questions off the cuff.

@2: well, that is because you are thick! In the picture you see CFK giving a speech about the 2 dam that will be built in Santa Cruz. The meeting was held in a normal table...

Tell me you clever fellow, how on earth are you going to get so many people round a normal table, I don't think I am so thick, you need to look closer to home.

Is 'positive meeting' one of her euphemisms like 'the truth telling commission' or “yes, this is my real face”?

Of course it was a positive meeting, She ( who must be obeyed ) said we are going to do this, that and the other and they said we agree, so yes a positive meeting. Hand clapping all round and according to warteiner, all sat around one big table, after all this is the way they do it in Argentina. A MEETING my backside.

It was such a positive meeting that CFK told us all that Argentina is far better off than Canada and Australia, and that our future is also better than their's!!!!!!!!!

Any comments from Anglotino and Troy Tempest would be very welcome!!!!!!!!

Anglo pretends to be an Aussie but he is really what we true blue Aussie a pommie bastard. The reason he posts such crap is to damage the good reputation of Australia. Don't believe a word he says!

Sorry but no Australian that I have ever met uses a phrase like “pommie bastard”, that is only used in rather low budget films!!!!!!!!!!

@10 Indeed you are. Wrong photo, dimwit!
@11 Of course, argieland is far better off than Canada and Australia. Canada has an inflation rate of 1.2%. Australia's inflation rate has soared to 2.4%. Proving that argieland is MUCH better off, it has an inflation rate of 24%. Isn't that ten times better than Australia and twenty times better than Canada. The bigger number the better, right? Or have I got that the wrong way round?
@12 One of the biggest tossers/wankers in the world is the one that makes a “comment” that has no relevance to the article and only seeks to to damage another commenter. This is a typical, brainless, argie ploy and should be reported as abuse as a matter of course. Every normal individual should report as soon as possible. Perhaps MercoPress could be asked to collect statistics on the number of times the same wanker posts the same comment.

The caption below the first photo says and I quote “ After the three hours meeting everyone recognised the positive economic figures” end quote. Where is this large round table talk.
The caption below second photo says and I quote “ The president with members of her cabinet at the Patagonia hotel ” end quote. Now pray tell me where does it says that the second photo was in fact the meeting?

Why do you pretend to be Australian when you cannot even construct a sentence in English for example:-
“he is really what we true blue Aussie a pommie bastard”

Explain to the uninitiated what constitutes a TRUE BLUE Australian.
The bulk of Australia's population came from the UK until the 50/60's
At 2010, the Anglo/Celtic population of Australia was given as 17 million or 74%. The country must be chock full of “pommie bastards”
What is your ethnic background. Unless you are a native aborigine, you must have come by boat or more recently by air.
Enlighten us, what makes YOU, ( about whom we know nothing and who refuses to reveal his background ) a so -called True Blue and Anglotino a pommie bastard ?
We await your reply with interest.

Ignore True Blue. I do! I proved conclusively that he isn't Aussie and now the only thing he has left is to forum chase me and post the exact same thing again and again. I'm flattered that someone created a sockpuppet that exist solely because of me.

So his comments always bring a smile to my face but not a comment.

Anyway back to the article before A_Voice get's his knickers in a knot - after all, deflecting and going off topic is HIS job not ours.

Has anyone got a transcript of what CFK said?

I was going to write a long list of how wrong her statement is and then I realised I didn't need to. Facts and reality speak for themselves. I never bought in to the mental health issues of CFK, but I would have to say that she seems to either be receiving extremely bad advice and briefings or she is indeed mentally unstable.

The only thing that Argentina currently has in common with Australia is that our country names both start and end in 'A'.

Argentina has the capacity to be as wealthy, well governed and stable as Australia and one day I truly hope it will be.

Ref your last paragraph I concur, but not if warteiner, A_Voice, Think et al has anything to do with it. I think Argentina needs a new junta to keep the population in check. Someone strong that does not curtail to the masses. There does not appear to be a work ethic at the moment, same as UK ( too many people on benefits )

It has become glaringly obvious that those misguided Argentines that support CFK now represent only 26% of the voting population, and this percentage is dropping fast!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, due to educational indoctrination, the percentage of believers in the “Malvinas Myth” is probably around 60% of the population, BUT the majority of them are far more worried about inflation, insecurity and rising unemployment than CFK and Timerman's ranting about the Falklands!!!!!!!

Suuure the construction guys likes her, she took money from the pensions to finance construction.

Anways guys? I JUST noticed that Cristina Kirchner's twitter follower list IS STUFFED WITH FAKES. Like, SO BAD that they didn't even pop a photo in or bot one single tweet.

Like how cheap and dumb is that! Hahahaha

It's like the..i think NYT thing on ”Lady Gaga's publicity firm prolly buying millions of fake profs on Twitter. Ahh, the Italian-immigrant populist excesses, lol.

Just want to add I LIKE the high points of italian ancestry & I'm off!

You just noticed? It has been common knowledge for a while. I've heard that about 10-15% of CFK followers are from Venezuela, obviously bought.

    That's interesting, Magnus!
Well to be fair, I looked at tge U.S. president's follows and it's stuffed with zero tweet eggs too. No idea what the point is.

Looking more closely at her followers, I'd guesstimate 250k at most are voting Argentines?

As a curious freelancer, I noticed that an Argentine businessman was once offering like, a quarter? per follower on Twitter, on Mechanical Turk. I tweeted the link to his follower-buying ON TWITTER and he took it down HAHAHA.
    :)
    Skraighten up, ppl!
